HOLBEACH United hotshot Liam Nimmo is heading out of Carter's Park.
The striker was missing from the squad which was mauled 7-1 at St Neots Town in the FA Cup last Saturday.

It comes days after a changing room bust-up with player/assistant manager Dean Elston following the league win over St Ives.

Bourne Town have made an official approach for Nimmo, who is also thought to be wanted back at Blue Square North side Gainsborough Trinity.

Spalding United say they would also be interested in getting the goalscorer back at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field.

Still reeling from the FA Cup hammering, Holbeach player/manager Shaun Keeble admitted yesterday that Nimmo has probably played his last for the Tigers.

He said: "There was a disagreement between him and Dean, but Dean's apologised to Liam and the club and that's all been sorted.

"Liam told me on Thursday that he wouldn't be travelling with us to St Neots because he didn't want to be cup-tied.

"He's got two or three options but he's told me he's definitely not going to Bourne."

Keeble insisted that Nimmo would have played last Saturday had it been a league match.

The Tigers boss was planning to speak to Nimmo again, but was not hopeful of keeping him.

Nimmo only re-signed for the Tigers last month, having originally left to join Gainsborough in February. He scored 25 goals for Holbeach last season.
